For Yahweh your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand; He has known your wanderings through this great wilderness. These forty years Yahweh your God has been with you; you have not lacked a thing. Deuteronomy 2:7
Often times in our lives we fail to see God's blessings as He is bestowing them on us. We all struggle, and we all fall short at times in our life. That's why we all need Jesus in our lives. When we are in Christ, the Holy Spirit resides in us as a guiding comforter, and a source of power for evangelic and missionary efforts in spreading the gospel. The gospel is the good news. The news that Christ Jesus came to the world when we were at our worst. Dirty, sin stained and unworthy, and knowing that God came into this world in the body of a man and lived a life of servitude and humility. He suffered and gave His life to buy back ours. This was His plan all along to bring salvation to the world through the death, burial, and resurrection of his one and only son. Through Jesus we receive our freedom from the shackles of bondage to our sinful nature. The mission of Hands and Feet of the Father is that of discipleship through the spreading and study of God's Divine Word, discussion, prayer, and a devotion to trying to help shepherd His lost and wayward sheep. Jesus prophesied before His arrest, that Peter (one of His most devoted disciples) would deny Him three times before the rooster crowed that morning. After Jesus was resurrected He gave a distraught Peter another chance to redeem himself and step out in faith. He asked him three times to affirm his love for Jesus. He asked Peter, "Do you love me?". Three times Peter confirmed his love for Christ. Jesus then said to Peter "If you love me tend My sheep." Rest assured no matter what your past, Jesus loves you and gave His life for you and He will be coming back for those that willfully worship the Lord through faith in Him, built by the grace shared and the blood shed at the cross to save us.
Luke 12:32 "So don't be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom."
John 5:21 "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also give life to whom He wishes.
John 6:35-40 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. Now this is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
John 10:25-30 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these bear witness of Me. But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish—ever; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”
John 1:1-5 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.
Jesus gave us two new commands: First, love God above all things. Secondly, love your neighbor.
The hard part for us as humans is understanding all mankind is our neighbor and loving unconditionally with a selfless attitude and without motive. We still fail at times as Christians but, the Spirit guides the heart when you allow it.
