Hands and Feet of the Father is a small, newly developed outreach located in Searcy, Arkansas. It is the mission of this small group of believers to share the message of our Lord and Savior. We as humans have been granted the grace of God, through faith in the name of Jesus our messiah. Nothing you do can earn this, not your good behavior, or your works, or even the love you show can get you into Heaven. It is a gift from God the Father that can only be accepted if we are willing to repent of our sins and believe in the name of Jesus, that He is God and Lord of all. He will not force himself upon us or, make us choose Him. He will only offer Himself, eternal life in the presence of the one and only God. His hope is that we would accept and turn our lives to Him. This means trusting in the good times and in the bad.

JAMES 1

Testing Your Faith James 1:1-18

James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
To the twelve tribes who are in the Dispersion: Greetings.
Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith brings about perseverance. And let perseverance have its perfect work, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith, doubting nothing, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
But the brother of humble circumstances is to boast in his high position; and the rich man is to boast in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away. For the sun rises with a scorching heat and withers the grass; and its flower falls off and the beauty of its appearance is destroyed; so too the rich man in the midst of his pursuits will fade away.
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully matured, it brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.

Doers of the Word James 1:19-27
Know this, my beloved brothers. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. Therefore, laying aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in gentleness receive the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But become doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he looked at himself and has gone away, he immediately forgot what kind of person he was. But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.
If anyone thinks himself to be religious while not bridling his tongue but deceiving his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless. Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

To Live Is Christ  Phillipians 1:21-30

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know what I will choose. But I am hard-pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better, yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake. And convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith, so that your reason for boasting may abound in Christ Jesus in me, through my coming to you again.

Only live your lives in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear about your circumstances, that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind contending together for the faith of the gospel, in no way alarmed by your opponents—which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that too, from God. For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, having the same struggle which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me.

Being a true Christian is not always an easy job but, it is a satisfying job. Just remember God always keeps His promises even when we don't and there is eternal life for anyone willing to repent of their sins, turn to Him and cry out "Save me Lord!". Search for fellowship from mature christians, live for Christ, love people, and never be afraid to speak out when the Spirit cries out to your heart. May God's grace and mercy be on us all and may He turn our hearts to His name and allow us to serve as the hands and feet of the Father with all humility and seeking to do His perfect will. God bless you all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
